Closing of the conference

Dear Colleagues!

The Sixth Scientific and Technical Conference "Corrosion in the Oil and Gas Industry" has been successfully completed! All of us, the IT-Service LLC team, have been carefully preparing for the event, trying to provide the most comfortable conditions for its passage. We are grateful to the guests and speakers of the conference for the productive work!

The purpose of the conference was to create a discussion platform for discussing the problems associated with corrosion of oil and gas infrastructure facilities. This year, the online participation format was successfully implemented in test mode, thanks to which more than 50 people were able to remotely attend our event.

Within two days, representatives of large metallurgical companies such as PJSC TMK, PJSC OMK, PJSC Severstal, as well as manufacturers of pipe products made of polymer materials (POLYPLASTIC Group LLC, Intratul Group, REMMASH- SERVICE", OOO NPP Polimak), talked about their developments and answered questions from representatives of oil companies - Rosneft, Gazpromneft, Surgutneftegaz, Irkutsk Oil Company, as well as enterprises of the Gazprom group - Gazprom production by Urengoy", "Achimgaz". The Higher School (NUST MISIS, polytechnic institutes of St. Petersburg, Samara, Penza, Tolyatti) and representatives of the scientific community (TsNIITMASH and TsNIICHERMET) actively participated in the conference.

During the conference, 34 reports were listened to and discussed, heated discussions did not stop even during breaks. The guests, who arrived a little earlier than the other participants, made a fascinating excursion to the Garibaldi Castle and admired the expanses of the Volga.
